On the whole, ‘ASAL’ would have been a great film if Saran had penned a good screenplay and made it yet more attractive. As of now, the film proves to be a passable show that can be watched once without any expectations.

Yogi Review : Ameer does a splendid job over the performance, but stumbles down on many occasions by exceeding his limits. As well, the film may not gratify the tastes of either multiplex or single screens audiences.

The song ‘Anuraga….’ tuned by Vidyasagar got received well. Those who have an ear for music found similitude with ‘Karimizhi Kuruvi ‘ from Meesa Madhavan and ‘Poove Poove Paalappove’ from Devadhoothan.

The real showstoppers for those giggles are in order of priority – Johnny Lever ( he cracks you up big time), Rajpal Yadav ( in a few scenes that he has) and Asrani( in bits).

Out and out , with a very poor 1st half and an abrupt end to the flick , wonder if it’s going to woo the masses. If you do watch this flick, do enjoy the promo of the much awaited ‘Veer’.

The film has successfully recreated 18th century. Art director and his crew have done great work. Unlike other films this film starts with out showing technicians name.
This incomparable movie is three hours fifteen minutes long. Quality wise the film can be compared with Hollywood movies. Putting a mark for this film will be my ignorance as we can’t compare gem with gold.

Pazhassi Raja Movie Review

Venkitesh Iyer (Prithviraj) is a tutor at an engineering coaching centre who is also an ATM robber who attacks only IBI Bank. Abirami (Samvritha) one of his student has crush on him which later proves to have no relevance in the film. Alexander Felix (Narien) gets assigned as private eye for the Bank to find the modus operandi of loot and to explain a defense mechanism to prevent the robbery. Bhavana comes as the system head for the bank. She stays with Narien in Bank’s guest house.
