Kabadi Kabadi, directed by debutant duo Sudheer-Manu stars Kalabhavan Mani, Mukesh, and Rambha in the lead roles. The highlight of the film is Rambha in a dual role.

Kabadi Kabadi is a comedy entertainer. The movie tells the story of Vijayan and Madhavankutty, stepbrothers who are at loggerheads due to plenty of old scores. While Govindankutty's mother was Rajashekharan's legally wedded wife, Vijayan was born out of an illicit relationship.

Govindankutty's team had always been winning the Kabadi match held in commemoration of Rajashekharan, while Vijayan wanted to win it at least once. Meanwhile both Vijayan and Govindankutty qualify for the job of Sub Inspector. While Vijayan is posted in their own place, Govindankutty is posted at a distant town. This creates problems.

Mukesh plays Vijayan and Kalabhavan Mani becomes Govindankutty. Rambha plays a dual role, as Pooja and Sneha.
