 Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal is to work with Jackie Chan in a movie named Nair San. The movie will be multi lingual. The movie is based on the life of a man of Indian origin who spent his life in Japan. Although he lived in Japan, he was actively involved in the freedom struggle against Great Britain.
Nair San is based on a real character Ayyappan Pillai Madhavan Nair, who had his education in Trivandrum Model School, and had to escape from India to Japan, because of his participation in the freedom struggle.
The film may start its shoot in September in Magolia. The movie Nair San will be a big budget movie, spending around 60 crores on the film. Mohanlal has already allotted 125 days call sheet for the film. The movie is directed by Albert, who directed the award winning film ‘Kanne Madanguka”. The Morphous group from the Middle East is funding the project. Shooting for Nair San is in the rare locations of Magolia, Japan and Northern China.
Albert reportedly got approval of the script from Jackie Chan’s office in Hong Kong and had visited Chan during his last visit to Hong Kong. Music for the film is expected to be done by A.R.Rahman. |
