 Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine won the film fare award for the best actor and actress in the Malayalam feature film category, for their performances in ‘Paradesi’ and ‘Ore Kadal’ respectively.
Mohanlal is winning the film fare award for the ninth time in his 27 years film career. The best supporting actor and actress award were won by Saikumar and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy respectively. ‘Kathaparayumbol’ is adjudged the best movie of the year. Babu Thiruvalla is the best director for the movie ‘Thaniye’. |
