 Malayalam superstar Mohanlal celebrated his 30 years in Malayalam film industry in the sets of his new movie “Red chillies”. Many of his friends including Ashokumar, the director of his first movie “Thiranottam” and Suresh Kumar who held the clap for his first scene attended the function held at FACT, Eloor.
Mohanlal had been in Malayalam films for 3 decades now from September 3, 1978 starting with Ashok Kumar's Thiranottam. But the movie was never screened. After the first film he had to wait for another 2 years for his next movie ‘Manjil Virinja Pookkal’ who saw the emergence of a new face in Malayalam cinema. He was the villain in the movie. He had acted in a large number of super hit movies since then. |
