 Director Hariharan’s historical venture ‘Pazhassi Raja’ starring Mammootty and Kanika, will start its final schedule in August. The script is by M.T. Vasudevan Nair who was also the script writer for the super hit film ‘Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha’ by the same team of Hariharan and Mammootty.
Pazhassi Raja is one of the biggest budgeted movies in the Malayalam film industry. The movie needs another 25 days of shooting for its completion. Mammootty will join the team after his shoot for the movie ‘Maya Bazaar’ by Thomas Sebastian. Kanika, who was also away because of her marriage last month, will also come back to complete her scenes in the movie.
The climax as well as major portions of the movie would be shot in the dense forests of northern Kerala and Karnataka. The movie is produced by Gokulam Gopalan and the story is based on Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, who revolted against the British. |
