 Debutante director Sasikumar’s “Subramaniapuram” is to be released on July 4th. Director tries to recreate 1980s in the movie ‘Subramaniapuram’. The story line goes on like this: Five educated, but job less friends from Subramaniapuram in Madurai wanders around doing nothing special. They were united until a girl enters their lives. The happening in their friendship after the entry of the girl is picturized in the movie.
Sasikumar was assisting directors Bala and Ameer. Jai, Ganja Karuppu, new faces Mari, and Vichithran and the director Sasikumar himself acts as the five jobless youths. Swathi plays the leading lady role. Director tried to recreate 80s in the hero’s clothes and make ups also.
He also used a new style of directing in the movie, with out revealing the story to the cast also. They were told about the situations in which they are going to act on the specific day and ask how they will react and shoot accordingly. |
