 Suriya’s ‘Varnam Aayiram’ and Vishal’s ‘Sathyam’ , both films are to be released on the same day – August 15 – Independence day. ‘Varnam Aayiram’ is directed by Gautham Menon and ‘Sathyam’ is by Rajshekar.
Surya – Gautham Menon combination was very successful in the film “Kakka Kakka”. The music is done by Harris Jeyaraj and Camera by Rathnavelu. The film casts Divya Spandana and Samira Reddy in the lead roles. Simran also plays an important role. The film has a strong storyline and has high expectations in lines with Kakka Kakka.
Surya is acting in three different roles in the film – a young man, a middle aged man and an old man. Simran plays heroine for the old man. Surya has worked out very well to be a body builder in this film. The film is produced by Aascar Films.
‘Sathyam’ casts Nayanthara as the leading lady. She performs the role of a young television journalist. Vishal plays the role of a Police man in the movie. Sathyam has been shot abroad extensively and there are many thrilling chases in the film. Again the music is by Harris Jayaraj. Fight sequences have been incorporated well by Kanal Kannan and Stunt Siva.
Both the films carry great expectations and one will not be able to predict anything now. People will give the verdict from the Independence day. |
